Anläßlich der Veröffentlichung des 2. Albums von Titanoboa "Seth" (a-Musik A47V) und anstatt des Spätkaufs im Laden laden wir ein zu einem Releasekonzert und DJ Set von DJ Zipo im Konzertraum des 674.fm Radios.
Es ist, als würde man aufwachen. Zunächst orientierungslos, Feedback, Geröll, Stimmen, so gehts los und man fühlt sich von dieser Musik auf eigentümliche Weise behütet und zur Einsicht ermuntert. Sobald man Gefallen an einem Klang gefunden und Interesse entwickelt hat, wird er potenziert oder zerstört und jemand ruft "ich". Ich. LSD ist Ringelpiez dagegen. Später werden Stahlschienen seziert, das Klingen in den Ohren, alles zittert, es ist offenkundig, man wird umsorgt, jemand kümmert sich. Nie werden die Zuhörenden alleine gelassen, ob sie wollen oder nicht. Und dann kommt doch unweigerlich der Moment der Stille, nachdem man zuvor durch alte Telefonleitungen und die Alpträume der Vorfahren geschickt wurde. Das ziemlich genaue Gegenteil eines Podcasts. Auf Hits wird dennoch nicht verzichtet. Seth wird überwiegend als schädlicher Gott angesehen, heißt es – aber eben nicht nur.
It's like waking up. Disorientated at first, feedback, crushed stones, voices, that's how it starts and you feel protected by this music in a strange way and encouraged to gain insight. As soon as you have begun to really like a chunk of sound and develop an interest in it, it is multiplied or destroyed in some way and someone calls out "Ich". Ich. LSD is hopscotch compared to that. Later, steel rails are dissected. It is ringing in the ears. Everything trembles. It is obvious that you are being looked after, that someone really cares. You are never left alone, whether you like it or not. And then inevitably comes the moment of silence, after being sent through old telephone cables and the nightmares of your ancestors. Pretty much the exact opposite of a podcast. Nevertheless, hits are not left out. Seth is predominantly seen as a harmful god – but by far not only.
